significance of chinese name

My Chinese name in English is Ying Zhi. In Chinese, it is 陈映志. 映 means to reflect or shine(outstanding), it provides contrast to create an effect. 志 means determination to work towards a future goal. Both words put together is the determination to bring out the best in others or himself. I think my name describes me in most situations. For example in my CCA track and field, I feel that I'm determined to win a medal. I do not strive to be outstanding as an individual, but I feel it is important to strive as a team.
